Generally 1 pound of Spillinex per 1 gallon clean up.

If on a hard surface, just stiff nylon broom it back and forth, then sweep the residue into a dustpan. If in water, Spillinex™ will bond to the waterborne oil spill and congeal into a solid or 'biscuit' on the surface so you can easily scoop it out.
